Tree Top Climbing (Le Vert en l’Air)

This is a great way to spend a day and it is fun for the whole family but not for children under say six years old.  The site consists of a whole range of high ropes and zip wires and there are different degrees of difficulty.  We would recommend you take a picnic and allow at least four to six hours to complete all the zip wires and high ropes. 

Canoeing

You drive to L’Isle en Dodon (approximately 30 minutes from A Pédourdé) and from there the operator drives you to the starting point – you end the trip in either Samatan or Lombez at your choice.  This is a great trip for the whole family and you should allow four to six hours for the trip. Recommend to take snacks and a picnic as there are places to stop by the river a long the way.

Pyrénées

From A Pédourdé it takes about 1.5 hours to get to ‘Saint Larry’ where you can take the cable car and walk in the Pyrénées.  You can para-glide and white-water raft from Saint Larry.  A trip to the Pyrénées is well worth the drive.
